The Service Manager will have an opportunity to achieve
Full GOLDSTAR Certification (100% Overall Dealership Certification) and receive a $400 VISA gift card.

  • Dealer must be enrolled in the Professionals Program.
  • Service Manager Job Code (Job Code 0010).
  • Excludes previous Service Manager GOLDSTAR Challenge winners.

Challenge Rules

WHO IS ELIGIBLE: This award is for the Service Manager, who is responsible for the training and certification of technicians and for ensuring that their dealership has a plan in place to meet the minimum training requirements for GoldStar certification.

CHALLENGE PERIOD: The Challenge will run from April 1, 2014 through March 31, 2015.

AWARD PERIODS: The dealership's certification status will be evaluated the first day of each month during the period.

AWARD PRESENTATION: Service Managers who have met the Challenge on the 1st of the month will receive their $400 gift card by the end of the month.

ELIGIBILITY RULES:

  • The dealership must be enrolled in the Professionals Recognition Program.
  • A dealership can enroll in the Professionals Recognition Program any time during the Challenge period.
  • The winner must be active in the DPTS database with an appropriate job code.
  • Only one person at the dealership can receive an award.
  • The award can only be earned once per dealership (from February 1, 2011 through the current Challenge period).
  • The Service/Parts Director is eligible for the award under the following conditions:
    • The dealership has more than one active Service Manager.
    • The dealership does not have an active Service Manager.
